We are big believers of sustainability. In addition to looking at product level, we monitor everyday steps to reduce the impact on the environment – as a business and as individuals. It’s not just something to do once to tick a box and then forget about it – it is a continuous process.
We do big things like recycle stone and water. We are working extremely hard on introducing eco-friendly FSC-certified packaging alternatives. Then there are small things like no plastic bottles and coffee cups in our offices – every little gesture adds up.
We’re also minimizing our paper use by focusing more on our digital catalogues and reducing the number of papers we print. It was a tough call because, in the design and luxury sector, beautiful printed catalogues are seen as a type of calling card for top brands.
